Posted July 30, 2018 09:08:16 Driverless cars are going to be a thing in the next few years.
And if you’re one of the thousands of people who live in places where it’s already happening, you’ll soon be part of the solution.
Here are some of the latest headlines.
The car is already here The New York Times reports that, as of late July, Tesla’s cars have been on the road in more than 1,200 cities across the U.S. and Canada, with more expected in the future.
This has been happening for a long time.
A few years ago, there was a push to develop driverless systems that could autonomously handle parking and take care of other tasks, such as keeping the lights on.
This was the early days of driverless car technology, and Tesla has been steadily building up its fleet of driver-assist systems.
By 2020, the company hopes to have about 200 of these systems on the roads worldwide, which would be a huge leap forward for driverless technology.
But Tesla’s biggest competitors have been Apple and Google.
And while Google has built its own autonomous systems and cars, Apple’s own technology is far less sophisticated and less reliable than Tesla’s.
Tesla is trying to catch up.
Last year, it rolled out its own system that allows its cars to navigate through parking lots autonomously.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk also announced last month that it will be partnering with Google to make its own driverless system available to consumers.
And this summer, Tesla will begin testing an autonomous car that is capable of driving itself on the highways of California.
Meanwhile, Uber has made a name for itself in driverless taxi testing.
But as autonomous vehicles become more common, they will face competition from a variety of companies, including Google, Uber, and the likes of Tesla.
That competition will likely continue for some time.
Autonomous taxis are more complex and will take longer to develop than other types of transportation.
Uber’s Autopilot, for example, is capable only of turning around a certain distance in 20 milliseconds.
But Autopilots have been around for about 20 years, and have already made a huge impact in the world of driving.
Tesla has not been able to match Uber’s speed or efficiency in testing AutopILots, and its systems are not as reliable as those of the top-tier taxi companies.
Tesla’s success in driving the technology is also likely to depend on how well it can keep up with Uber.
Uber has been the leader in autonomous taxi testing and has the advantage of huge amounts of cash and an existing market.
And Tesla is already working on an autonomous taxi that it hopes will be on the streets by 2020.
In addition to being more expensive, Uber also has a reputation for being difficult to work with.
Uber is also working on its own self-driving car, and it is expected to release its first vehicles in 2020.
Meanwhile Google has been making strides in driverlessness, and is expected in 2020 to be the first to build a self-balancing, driverless ride service.
But the company has yet to make it to the point where it can operate fully autonomous vehicles on public roads.
Uber currently has around 3,000 drivers on its network.
Uber plans to expand its fleet, which could eventually include 1,000 vehicles, by 2021.
Uber says that the cost of its new self-parking service will be $6,500 per trip.
But that figure is still a lot lower than the $50,000 that Tesla is offering for its autonomous cars.
